Service Terms

These terms govern the VYQ Payment Risk Review and related executive verification briefing provided by BSS Technologies Inc. A signed written agreement controls if it conflicts with these online terms.
1. Scope
The standard $500 service covers one accepted, redacted payment-risk situation and one written decision brief. The review may address an invoice, vendor or beneficiary change, payee request, business email compromise concern, or payment-approval workflow. Additional cases, extensive evidence, interviews, integrations, expedited work, or implementation require separate written scope and pricing.
2. Acceptance and timing
Payment does not automatically accept a case. BSS verifies payment, authority, completeness, safety, and fit before work begins. Delivery timing is confirmed after complete intake. VYQ OS is not an emergency service, and customers should immediately contact their bank and appropriate authorities when an active or imminent loss may be occurring.
3. Customer responsibilities
- Submit only information the customer is authorized to provide.
- Redact passwords, MFA codes, card data, CVV, private keys, full Social Security numbers, and full account or routing numbers.
- Provide accurate context and independently preserve original records.
- Retain final authority for every payment, hold, release, escalation, legal, regulatory, insurance, and operational decision.
4. Service boundary
VYQ OS provides verification workflow and decision support. It is not a bank, payment rail, payment processor, money transmitter, custodian, escrow service, lender, insurer, law firm, law-enforcement agency, emergency service, financial advisor, or replacement for the customer's compliance program or professional advisers. Results do not guarantee fraud prevention, loss recovery, insurance coverage, legal outcome, or regulatory compliance.
5. Payment, cancellation, and refunds
The standard fee is charged through Stripe or an approved invoice. A customer may request cancellation before substantive review begins. After review begins, fees are generally nonrefundable because professional analysis and document handling have commenced, except when required by applicable law or when BSS cancels the engagement. Chargebacks do not replace the written cancellation process.
6. Confidentiality and security
BSS uses reasonable administrative and technical controls appropriate to this limited service, but no online transmission or storage system is guaranteed to be completely secure. The customer must minimize and redact submitted data. BSS may refuse or delete prohibited or unsafe material.
7. Intellectual property
BSS retains ownership of VYQ OS, its methods, templates, software, designs, and general know-how. The customer may use its delivered report internally for the reviewed business decision and related audit, insurance, banking, legal, or compliance discussions. The customer may not resell, reverse engineer, or represent the report as a guarantee or certification.
8. Disclaimer and limitation
The service and report are provided for the accepted scope based on information available at the time. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, BSS is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or lost-profit damages. BSS's aggregate liability arising from the standard review will not exceed the fee paid for the specific review giving rise to the claim, except where applicable law does not permit that limitation.
9. Changes and contact
